Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our software development team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in ensuring effective Agile practices, technical excellence, and successful offshore team coordination. This position requires a candidate who can blend Agile leadership with hands-on software development skills, including performing code reviews and quality assurance testing. Additionally, familiarity with Azure services is required for streamlined integration and deployment.

Scope of duties

• Lead the team in adopting and embracing Agile principles and methodologies. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Utilize your hands-on coding experience to review code, ensure coding standards, and conduct testing to maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Guide and manage an offshore development team, ensuring they are aligned with project goals, hitting milestones, and maintaining effective communication.
• Collaborate with the team to set and track project milestones, ensuring timely delivery of features and functionality.
• Manage the day-to-day activities and resources and chair the team meetings.
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership.
• Monitor the flow of work and keep track of performance daily

What You Offer:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science/Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
• A ScrumMaster certification (PSM OR CSM) would be preferred
• A combination of Leadership & Full Stack Technical ability will be highly valued
• At least 5 years of experience leading initiatives within IT
• Expert programming skills in C#, and solid working experience with .NET Frameworks and ReactJS
• Solid experience with Azure cloud platform
• Strong understanding of Agile Principles and demonstrated ability to apply it daily.
• Experience working as part of an agile team and methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Ability and experience leading small to mid-sized Squads preferred
• Effective communication and leadership skills to promote collaborative team environments and work well with cross-functional groups.
